Tired of lemonade? šŸ‹ Try something new — homemade watermelon kvass!

Ingredients:

ā–«ļø Watermelon (flesh) — 2–3 kg

ā–«ļø Sugar – 150–300 g (adjust to taste)

ā–«ļø Dry yeast – 1 tsp

ā–«ļø Citric acid – 1 tsp

ā–«ļø Water – 3–4 liters



100 ml of watermelon kvass ā‰ˆ 25–30 kcal (about the same as in soda, but natural).

The more sugar, the sweeter and stronger the kvass will be. If you want a light refreshing drink, take a minimum of sugar.

Instead of citric acid, you can use the juice of half a lemon.

If you want a richer taste, add a few blackcurrants or mint during fermentation.

Before serving, it is better to cool the kvass, and if desired, serve with ice.

The drink can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.

Cut the watermelon pulp into pieces, remove the seeds and, if desired, grind in a blender.

Pour the juice into a large saucepan or jar, add water and sugar, yeast. Mix well.

Cover with gauze and leave in a warm place for 12-24 hours to ferment.

When the drink becomes slightly carbonated and a pleasant aroma appears, strain it through a sieve or cheesecloth.

Pour into bottles, seal tightly and put in the refrigerator.
The kvass is ready! Serve chilled.

Quality Fresh 2 beef fillets ( approximately 14 ounces each )

Quality Olive oil

4 cups Chestnut Mushrooms

1 sprig fresh thyme

4 cups puff pastry

8 slices Parma ham

2 egg yolks

beaten with 1 tbsp water and a pinch of salt

Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Beef Wellington

2 tbsp olive oil

7 oz beef trimmings

4 large shallots ( peeled and sliced )

12 black peppercorns

1 bay leaf

1 sprig fresh thyme

Splash of red wine vinegar

3 cups red wine

3 cups beef stock
